The finals of the IEEE WCCI Computer-vs-Human Go competition is sponsored by the IEEE and the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society and is free and open to the public.

Tournament players Chun-Hsun Chou (9P) and Ping-Chiang Chou (6P) of Taiwan, and female Japanese title holder Yimin Hsieh (6P).

Computer program teams include Facebook USA’s DarkForest, Zen (Japan), CGI (Taiwain) and Pachi (Czech Republic).
