The Ferry Building Gallery is pleased to present a mixed media exhibition in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico. The exhibition features the works of 14 Mexican-Canadian artists and runs August 16 through 28.

The image of the exhibition, a circle symbolizing the pre-Hispanic ball game in which the winner was sacrificed to honour the ancient Gods, epitomizes a tradition and a contradiction of ancient Mexico while representing the concept of the artwork showcased.

The goal of the exhibition is to celebrate the Mexican spirit in Canada, a country that has welcomed all the artists of the exhibition as newcomers.
Opening Reception Tuesday, August 16, 6–8 p.m. - all are welcome. Join us to enjoy great art and musical entertainment. Meet the Artists on Saturday, August 20, 2–3 p.m.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Tuesday–Sunday, closed Mondays.
