Sarah Kennedy is returning to Frankie’s to perform the music of Blossom Dearie, joined by Nick Peck(piano), David Blake(guitar), Michael Rush(bass), and Mili Hong(drums). Blossom Dearie was a Brooklyn born jazz singer, pianist and composer, who became famous for her unique sound. In contrast to more full-bodied, sultry vocal jazz styles, Blossom’s voice was girlish and cute. Her interpretations abounded with tongue-in-cheek humour whilst displaying musical mastery.
