The South Asian Family Association presents India Live!

The culture of India takes over Granville Street with a free street festival on August 27 from 12-7pm.

This year the festival opens with the legendary Bhangra sensation, the superstar of Punjabi music- Malkit Singh! Who, will be mesmerizing the crowd starting at 1:30pm with his most powerful songs such as "Gur Nalo Ishq Mita", "Tootak Tootak Tootiyan", "Chal Hun", and "Jind Mahi", the latter two from the soundtrack to the popular film Bend it Like Beckham.

On the Street throughout the day:
