A concert by the Lions Gate Chorus is much more than just close four-part harmonies, top musicianship and innovative choreography: it’s closer to a Broadway musical than anything approaching conventional choral music. There’s wondrous variety in the repertoire, too. On November 22 you will hear lively arrangements of everything from the moving ballad “The Way You Look Tonight,” to Katy Perry’s “Roar”, Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose” and a Bruno Mars “Mashup.” The evening will be hosted by media personality and Lions Gate Chorus member, Deborra Hope. It will feature MARTINI, the 2012 International Quartet Champions, whose smooth and sophisticated harmonies will appeal to everyone’s music tastes. Lions Gate Chorus, under the direction of Sandy Marron, is a diverse group of over 100 women all with one goal – an unwavering commitment to vocal excellence in four-part a cappella harmony!
