Headlined by Sean Proudlove

Sean Proudlove has been writing and performing comedy since the turn of the century. You may have heard him on one of his several radio appearances including CBC’s The Debaters or perhaps you’ve seen him on TV in his own Comedy Now special or as a finalist in the Corner Gas Comedy competition or his taping at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. So go see him live and find out what all the scuttlebutt is about.

Hosted by Mark Hughes

Take a wholesome faced bad boy and then add therapy, with a dash of philosophy, and you begin to have Mark Hughes. Quickly making a name for himself in the Vancouver comedy scene, Mark had opened for the likes of Jason Rouse and Doug Stanhope. Comedy Shocker was Mark’s creation.
Hailing from Vancouver Mark uses his sardonic wit and fearless stage presence to shine a light on the demons that sometimes still affect him to this day. Mark draws upon all of his life experiences, from the dark and grim past to the introspective and playful present; there isn't a subject that isn't too taboo. After all, how can your life be taboo?

And featuring:

Kyle Jones

Kyle’s funny and didn’t give us a bio. Trust us he cares more about comedy (and cocaine and whores) than small administrative matters.

Mark Nesbitt

Mark Nesbitt is Canadian Comedian that performs at both Yuk Yuks and The Comedy Mix regularly, and is making a name for himself in the Vancouver scene. With his dry sense of humor and quick wit, paired with his rules for public bathroom etiquette, and stories of failed relationships he's got jokes for the whole family. (As long as they're adults and not really stupid... or too smart)

Sam Tonning

Sam loves Phil Collins, long walks on the beach and pickles. Kids have run away from him calling him the Pickle Man, for a reason nobody can truly figure out. He’ll wear a blazer just to hide the fact that he’s dark as fuck (not in skin tone).

Mark O’Keeffe

Mark O’Keeffe is a dark and twisted alcoholic Irish degenerate immigrant who will soon be deported. His comedy style has been described as retarded. That's as good of a bio that he can write for myself.

Ollie Maughan

Ollie is the modern cat lady you didn’t even know existed. When she's not adjusting the security camera in her garden plot, she can be seen around Vancouver telling jokes to people who are mostly interested in the drink specials. After being told “can you please stop making the interns watch you tell jokes in the hallway”, she took the dive into Jan Bannister’s pool of comedy. If you don’t love her on stage, you're probably a dog person.
