Come by to check out the Richmond Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Interactive Open House on September 24th!

The Sea Cadet Program is offered to youth ages 12-18, focusing on building strong leadership skills, creating engaged citizens, and promoting physical fitness. In addition, Sea Cadets participate in supervised on-water activities. The Sea Cadet program is supported by the Department of National Defense in partnership with the Navy League of Canada. Cadets are not military members are under no obligation to join the Canadian Armed Forces.

Over 75 of Richmond’s Bicknell Sea Cadets participate in activities such as music, first aid, rope work, air rifle training and sailing. The leadership and communication skills learned at Bicknell are highly transferable to education, future careers and community involvement.

Learn more about Bicknell’s program by attending the Interactive Open House on Saturday, September 24th from 10am to 4pm, located near the Richmond Olympic Oval at 7411 River Road, Richmond B.C. Register today for the experience of a lifetime! Bicknell cadets meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. You are welcome to visit in person to check out a training night.
