The Abracadaver Cabaret presents a series of horror inspired vignettes that bring together the awe and wonder of magic, the lust and spectacle of burlesque striptease, and the thrill and terror of storytelling.

The Abracadaver Cabaret is a collaboration of dancers, actors, magicians, visual artists, and poets who have come together because of their passion for horror. Concocted seven years ago by the delightfully deranged minds of Mama Fortuna, Melody Mangler and Voodoo Pixie, this annual show has become a place for a diverse group of performers to explore the macabre side of their craft. The seventh annual Abracadaver Cabaret takes place October 1st at the Wise Hall, which is rumoured to be haunted. The show is hosted by Voodoo Pixie and features burlesque performers Mama Fortuna, Melody Mangler and Nitemare; magicians Travis Bernhardt and Aleister Crane; actors David Quast, Andrew Harron, and Bazil Graham; modern dancer Paige Alexandra Fullerton; strong men Chris Harris and Nick Price; and photographer Danielle Anathema. Guaranteed to make you want to hide under your blanket and wish for dawn, this show is not recommended for the faint of heart.
