Steampunk, fantasy, sci-fi and comic narratives are interwoven into the whimsical and imaginative characters of Mechanical Wonders: Imagining the Future. Hopeful and curious imagination is reflected in the unfamiliar yet familiar characters as they mimic our realities making us wonder. For the five artists, illustration, cartoon, 3D "bots" and suspended assemblage blend traditional and digital technology.
