truth and beauty gallery is pleased to present 'SHIFTS', by Nicole Dextras. This new exhibition features a series of photographs depicting garments and botanical material frozen in blocks of ice.
Dextras' art practice is rooted in the environmental art movement and her work uses ephemeral materials to reference our connection with the natural world. Her work examines the transient aspects of nature through the lens of ever-changing cultural markers such as language and fashion.
