Last year's collaboration between Vancouver Poetry Slam and Vancouver Story Slam was such a screaming good time that we're bringing back the spooky again! Ten storytellers and poets will share harrowingly horrific performances gruesome enough to make your pimple pus curdle.

Alix Born, Burcu Ozdemir, Carol Shilibeer, Duncan Shields, J.P. Lorence, Kyla del Rosario, Lozan Yamolky, Mark Moraes, Sebastien Wen, and Siobhan Barker will do their best to worm their way into the crowd's rotting hearts. Audience members will vote for their favourite fantastically frightening performances; $125 in cash prizes will be awarded, and the top-voted participant will receive the title of 2016 Ghost Story Slam Champion.

The nightmare will begin with a guest story by two-time Vancouver Story Slam champion Bryant Ross.

Costumes and ghoulish garb are encouraged!

Suggested cover is $10; $5 for the un(der)employed and those on fixed incomes. Cash only at the door. Early arrival is recommended to get the best seats.
