What happened at COP22 and what does it mean for global cooperation on climate change?

At COP21 last December, the Paris Agreement was unanimously adopted and charted a new course in the global response to climate change. In Marrakesh this November, world governments came together for the first time since Paris to discuss the implementation of the Paris Agreement at COP22.

So what happened at COP22? What was (and wasn't) agreed to, and what does this mean for progress on climate change?
