One year ago a U.S.-backed right-wing majority was elected to Venezuela’s Parliament. After coming to office in January, they have tried to pass numerous laws aimed at reversing the gains of the Bolivarian Revolution, including the privatization of housing and attacks on labour rights, as well as carried out multiple attempts to overthrow the government of President Nicolas Maduro.

With the support of the U.S. government and their imperialist allies, the counter-revolutionary opposition has also continued a fierce economic war against the people of Venezuela.

Under this constant assault the government of President Nicolas Maduro and the Bolivarian Revolution has continued to confront the economic war and carry the tremendous gains of the Bolivarian Revolution forward.

On December 9th the Fire this Time Venezuela Solidarity Campaign invites supporters of the Bolivarian Revolution in Vancouver to join us in the streets of Vancouver to our 13th consecutive monthly action to demand an end to U.S. intervention in Venezuela!

Hace un año una mayoría de derecha respaldada por Estados Unidos fue elegida para el Parlamento de Venezuela. Después de ocupar el cargo en enero, han intentado aprobar numerosas leyes encaminadas a revertir los logros de la Revolución Bolivariana, incluyendo la privatización de viviendas y los ataques a los derechos laborales, así como múltiples intentos de derrocamiento del gobierno del presidente Nicolás Maduro.

Con el apoyo del gobierno de los Estados Unidos y de sus aliados imperialistas, la oposición contrarrevolucionaria también ha continuado una guerra económica feroz contra el pueblo de Venezuela.

Bajo este asalto constante, el gobierno del presidente Nicolás Maduro y la Revolución Bolivariana han continuado enfrentando la guerra económica y llevando adelante los tremendos logros de la Revolución Bolivariana.

El 9 de diciembre, la Campaña de Solidaridad con Venezuela de Fire This Time invita a los apoyantes de la Revolución Bolivariana en Vancouver a unirse a nosotros en las calles de Vancouver a nuestra decimotercera acción mensual consecutiva para exigir el fin de la intervención estadounidense en Venezuela!
