Special Q+A at The Park Theatre on Fri Feb 17 after the 7pm screening of “The River of My Dreams: A Portrait of Gordon Pinsent”.
Pinsent’s son, Vancouver resident and renaissance man Barry Kennedy will give the Q+A that evening. The film continues at The Park Theatre through the week.


The film is a deeply personal look at Gordon Pinsent as an artist, actor, poet, painter, husband and father. And it reveals how Gordon’s spirit inspires his creativity, his life, and his artistic journey – no matter what the role. In this film, directed by Oscar-winner Brigitte Berman, Pinsent is at his charming best regaling viewers in his unmistakable voice with stories of his life as one of Canada’s most iconic actors of stage, screen and television. Friends, family and colleagues who helped him along the way are also featured including Christopher Plummer, RH Thompson, Norman Jewison,Mary Walsh and his children Leah Pinsent, Barry Kennedy and Beverly Kennedy.
