Have you ever noticed that people don’t like to be criticized, blamed, and/or corrected? And yet, doesn’t it seem like we sometimes have to give each other feedback about what bothers us? Almost everybody likes the idea of being treated non-judgmentally, but what exactly is that? How can we tell others what disturbs us about their choices without also suggesting that they have done something bad or wrong? This talk will describe a perspective on human behaviour that can help us have productive conflicts rather than pointless fights. It also includes concrete strategies for translating from ideas to actions. It might even be fun; learning about how to make life better can feel pretty good.
