Vancouver-based Iranian artists Amir Aziz and Aileen Bahmanipour will talk about their work in the exhibition CLOAKED, and the ways in which they have responded to historical Persian and Orientalist works through a contemporary lens. Their works consider themes of identity, cultural relationships between the East and West, and past perceptions as well as those that continue to exist in the present.
