NEW WESTMINSTER, BC, March 1, 2017– April 1st 2017 launches the annual Capture Photography Festival featuring artists and venues across Greater Vancouver dedicated to the art of photography. Van Dop Gallery will feature the ephemeral works of Vancouver photographer Desirée Patterson.

“Desirée’s work is visually arresting and speaks to ideas of environmental stewardship and preservation through the act of artmaking and photography.” – Trudy Van Dop

The Capture Photography Festival Capture Photography Festival is devoted to exhibiting challenging and thought-provoking photography from local and international artists and features venues all over Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

The Van Dop Gallery is a unique home gallery and garden dedicated to the Art of Living. The gallery features the works of over 80 Canadian artists in the context of home. The gallery deconstructs the austere notion of the white-walled gallery, giving collectors the opportunity to experience art in its place of belonging: the home.
