Preeminent percussionist Sal Ferreras presents Drum Heat, a concert of virtuosic rhythm and sizzling sound to benefit Arts Umbrella, Thursday, April 27 at 8pm at the Vogue Theatre. As BC’s renowned drumming master, Ferreras will lead a showcase of the West Coast’s top percussive and musical talent. Set to thrill with their red-hot beats in styles and fusions from the Carribean, Latin America, and Asia, the lineup of stellar artists will have audiences grooving - all in support of youth arts education. This year’s Drum Heat also boasts the exuberant 20-voice Sarabande choir.
