Equine Coach founder, Evelyn McKelvie is a certified credentialed Executive Coach who coaches people with the assistance of horses. A pioneer in the equine facilitated executive coaching movement, her own unique approach respects the true nature of the horse as well as her clients. Equine Coach has been in business for 10 years working with individuals and groups to develop leadership competencies, emotional self-awareness and self-management, and enhancing communication skills, for the greater effectiveness of relationships.

Evelyn’s career path has been very much “a road less travelled”. Over the years Evelyn has explored the fields of art, music, theatre, and has held leadership roles in post-secondary education, and Information Technology. In 2014 she retired from the University of British Columbia’s IT Enterprise Architecture group to coach full time. Evelyn’s clients benefit from the many years of coaching and horse training and the wealth of real-world experience she brings to her coaching.

As a certified horse trainer and Executive Coach, Evelyn incorporates techniques from the worlds of neuroscience and Emotional Intelligence into her work.
