Learn how to make your own all natural incense in this hands-on workshop which leads you through the incense-making process from the gathering of ingredients to rituals of burning.

You will learn all about the ancient art of traditional whole-herb incense-making including ingredients, materials, scent-mixing, form and methods of burning. Discuss the different kinds of incense and ways they are created including how to avoid inferior products. Touch on the basics of scent-mixing, and experiment with the world of herbs and their amazing natural properties. Mix your own original scents from the natural ingredients provided or use one of a number of recipes. You will learn different techniques for burning loose-incense mixtures, and see examples of these. Then you will hear about the different ways to turn these mixtures into combustible incense, and the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Participants will create one vial of loose incense, one set of incense pellets, and one set of sticks or cones and walk away with instruction and handouts for:
