BC’s South Coast, including Vancouver, is home to an amazing diversity of plants and animals with over 260 of these species considered to be at risk. Join Tamsin Baker, Stewardship Coordinator of the South Coast Conservation Program, and Phil Henderson, Species at Risk Biologist, for an informative nature event to learn about some South Coast species at risk, with a focus on Vancouver and Jericho Beach Park. The event will start with a presentation at the community centre, followed by a walking tour of the park. Event will be rain or shine. Bring appropriate foot wear.
