Our time together will begin with an acknowledgment of the traditional territory, learning what it is and why it is important.

We will journey together through an overview of our shared history and explore how this continues to influence the wellness of our families, communities and nations. We will learn about the residential schools, their legacy, and intergenerational impacts as well as the findings and Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Through dialogue, we’ll make the connection of this shared history to individuals, organizations, communities, and our Nation. With the energy and wisdom in the room we’ll co-create a safe space to have meaningful conversations that move reconciliation forward.

This engaging workshop rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing and being, remembers the importance of focusing on resiliency and hope. You will leave with teachings, reflections, inspiration to know more and do more, and ideas of how you and your organization can take part in reconciliation.
