The Bitter End With Simon King
Rickshaw Theatre, 254 E. Hastings, Vancouver *Moved from May 10th.* Any tickets bought for May 10th will be honoured at the June 28th show. Refunds for the May 10th show are available at point of purchase.
The Rickshaw presents a live talk show taping of THE BITTER END WITH SIMON KING, a hard-edged, intelligent, and aggressive approach to the issues of the day. Oh, and it's really funny.
This edition asks: Is punk dead? King sits down with local music luminary Wendy 13 and punk historian/novelist Chris Walter to discuss the past, present, and future of punk. And they tackle the big questions: Does punk still have a place in the world of politics? Is it more important than ever in the world of Trump style politics of intolerance? Or has punk become little more than a fashion statement? How does punk evolve in the face of a changing political landscape? This edition also features musical performances by Vancouver New Wavers Girlfriends and Boyfriends. Ages 19+.
