Are you a writer?!

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Surrey International Writers’ Conference, and we’re excited to unveil some incredible additions to our 2017 event!

Aside from over 60 presenters (including published authors, editors, agents, and publishers), we also host over 450 attendees who truly come from all over the globe. Registrants have the unique opportunity to attend over 75 workshops, pitch appointments (pitch your manuscript or idea to an agent or editor), and blue pencil café appointments (speak privately with one of our author presenters).

Aside from the stellar professional development, the weekend boasts a themed Friday night dinner—Literary Masquerade—and night owl events that include Shock Theatre, an author book-signing, a Saturday banquet, cocktails in the hotel lounge, a live auction (in addition to our annual silent auction), and more.

The conference takes place at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel and Conference Centre in Surrey, BC from October 20-22, 2017, with master classes on Thursday Oct 19, 2017. Registration commences June 7, 2017. Register early – last year, SiWC sold out three months before the event.
