Invisible Taste spotlights the vast sonic range of Vancouver's most cosmically inclined rhythm section. Using electronics, Califone phonographs, a vast array of hand percussion tools and toys—and of course drums and bass—Daniel Gaucher (Fond of Tigers, Sandro Perri) and Colin Cowan (Elastic Stars, Dálava) embark on inter-dimensional sonic journeys. For this special concert, they’re joined by two of their favourite violinists—Jesse Zubot (Tanya Tagaq) and his brother Josh Zubot, a leading figure in Montreal’s creative music scene for the past decade.
