An always intoxicating blend of jazz, Brazilian samba, 1960s French pop, and cabaret music, Vancouver quintet Mimosa celebrates its 20th anniversary by spotlighting the songwriting contributions of Canadian women past and present. In honour of Canada 150, Mimosa’s repertoire addresses the themes of diversity, reconciliation, social justice, and the environment through creativity, playfulness, and superb musicality.
