LAUGHTER people, it's the best medicine, the champion of health and wellness. We combed the data, asked our moms, and even shook an eight-ball about it. It was all very scientific. Did you know 2 out of 3 doctors recommend laughter over vitamins? Nor did we! But sometimes people claim to be doctors just to make a fun point.

The 11th Annual "Laughter is the Best Medicine" improvised-comedy show is just around the corner! This year, all profits will benefit the Overdose Prevention Society (OPS), whose peer-based services were offered in response to the fentanyl crisis affecting our community. We are thrilled to help them continue to save lives.

The show will be held at the Steveston-London Secondary School theatre on Friday, June 16. Entrance is off of Williams Road and there is plenty of FREE parking.

Doors open at 6:30pm, show begins at 7:00pm.

There will also be a (cash only) concession benefitting OPS so don’t forget, calories don’t count when it is for charity!
