Staged in an actual house, with only twenty-five tickets available per show, the audience is right in the living room for the emotional roller-coaster ride of Jan and Adam's first night alone in nine years. With their son away on his first ever sleepover, everything that they've been holding onto - love, desperation, neediness, hostility, resentment - all comes out in what the NY Times called "the feral, complicated pattern of emotional attack and retreat that couples pursue once they decide to remove their gloves and their masks."

Director Raïna von Waldenburg brings the raw, physical approach of her seventeen years experience teaching theatre at NYU to the play, inviting the audience directly into the home and the lives of the characters.
