Mashed Poetics is a night of music and spoken word mash up. We pick a record album and ask poets to write new poems inspired by the songs. We also get a cover band to play the tunes the night of the show with the poets performing in between the songs.

Artists that have inspired us in the past include Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Frankline, Rage Against the Machine, No Doubt, The Barenaked Ladies, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and many more.

This time around we're taking our cues from Metallica's hardcore classic And Justice For All. 9 songs, 9 poets and one killer cover band.

$10 at the door. Doors at 7:30 show at 8:30.
