Cloud Atlas  
The Matrix directors Andy and Lana Wachowski, along with Run Lola Run director Tom Tykwer, adapt David Mitchell’s novel about six stories that intertwine through the ages. The large ensemble cast includes Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant, Skyfall’s Ben Whishaw, and South Korean actor Doona Bae.

Colorful  
This Japanese animated film tells the story of a sinful spirit that inhabits the body of a teenage suicide victim in order to unravel two mysteries. Colorful won the animation category at the 2010 Japanese Academy Prize.

Dexter: The Complete Seventh Season  
In this Showtime television drama, Michael C. Hall stars as Dexter Morgan, a forensics specialist in the Miami Police who moonlights as a serial killer.

Liz & Dick  
Lindsay Lohan portrays late movie star Elizabeth Taylor opposite Killer Elite’s Grant Bowler as Richard Burton in The Five People You Meet in Heaven director Lloyd Kramer’s made-for-TV biopic.

Neighboring Sounds  
Brazilian director Kleber Mendonça Filho captures middle-class life in present-day Brazil in this film about what happens to a neighbourhood when a private security company takes up residence.
