The Vancouver Polish Film Festival celebrates its third year this weekend with a strong selection of contemporary films, and one classic from the vaults.

Loving (2012) opens the fest at the Djavad Mowafaghian Theatre at SFU Woodward’s in the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts on Friday (October 17), with One Way Ticket to the Moon, In the Name Of, and Jack Strong rounding out Saturday’s bill. Prior to Ida and Life Feels Good, the 1981 comic caper movie Vabank gets a welcome screening on Sunday (October 19).
