Michael Moore pulls Trump movie out of his ass

Roger Corman famously made The Little Shop of Horrors in a weekend.

Yesterday (October 18), only hours after hiring publicists to help fast-track press screenings in New York and LA, Michael Moore went straight from the editing bay to the IFC Center (sic) Cinema in New York to premiere his still hot-to-the-touch flick Michael Moore in TrumpLand—a stunt the Where to Invade Next filmmaker had been hinting at since the weekend:

In reality, it's not quite like he pulled this movie out of thin air. Michael Moore in TrumpLand is a concert film, capturing Moore's recent one-man show/confrontation with "Ohio Republicans" at the Murphy Theater in Wilmington, Ohio.

Deadline was at the New York screening, noting that the film, "despite its title, is less about Donald than Hillary, as Moore sets out to explain and dismantle the country’s rampant and entrenched dislike of the former First Lady."

Moore plans to announce online screening options in the next few days.
