Filmmaker Atom Egoyan and actor Bruce Greenwood will attend a Q&A at the Vancity Theatre following a 20th anniversary presentation of The Sweet Hereafter on National Canadian Film Day 150 (April 19).

It's one of the highlights in a day of free programming at the film centre, which also includes screenings of Egoyan's 1994 hit Exotica and the 1977 Georgia Straight-approved Vancouver cult flick, Skip Tracer—chosen by Egoyan himself.

Skip Tracer writer-director Zale Dalen will also attend.

The Vancity is expanding its NCFD150 celebrations with six new Canadian features threaded through its regular weekly schedule, starting with Nick de Pencier's bleak survey of the Internet, Black Code, on April 14.  

Rounding out the programming:

John Barnard's super-provocative Menorca (April 15 and 20); indie auteur Brendan Prost's Sensitive Parts (Apri 16 and 18); David Ray's wonderful Grand Unified Theory (April 16 and 20); the world premiere of Jason (Black Fly) Bourque's latest, Drone (starring Sean Bean, April 17); and, finally, Hugh Gibson's highly acclaimed doc, The Stairs (running April 21-27).
