      Beasts of the Southern Wild   
      Director Benh Zeitlin’s debut feature-length film stars newcomers Dwight Henry and Quvenzhané Wallis as father and daughter Wink and Hushpuppy living in a rundown southern Delta community called the Bathtub. When the Bathtub becomes flooded and Wink contracts a serious illness, six-year-old Hushpuppy embarks on a fantastical journey to find her lost mother.

      Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days   
      In the third installment of this family comedy series, Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) is worried that he’ll have the worst summer ever when all of his holiday plans go awry.

      Pitch Perfect   
      Fans of Glee or high-energy movie musicals will enjoy Pitch Perfect, a comedy about a college-level, all-girls singing group that decides to take on the rival all-boys group. Dawson’s Creek director Jason Moore’s debut feature film stars Twilight’s Anna Kendrick, Hairspray’s Brittany Snow, and Bridesmaids’ Rebel Wilson.

      Premium Rush   
      It’s every bike courier’s worst nightmare. Cyclist Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) picks up a package for delivery only to find himself chased by a dirty cop. Premium Rush will be released on December 21.

      Total Recall   
      Underworld director Len Wiseman’s remake of the 1990 sci-fi action flick replaces stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone with Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale as leads Douglas and Lori Quaid. Total Recall, which also features Jessica Biel, Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, and Wrath of the Titans’ Bill Nighy, tells the story of a man on the run from the police after a botched “fake memories” implant operation.
