George Harrison: Living in the Material World
This Martin Scorsese documentary gives audiences a rare window into the life of musician George Harrison. The film features interviews with Harrison’s friends and family intercut with archival footage of the Beatles.

Haywire
In Contagion director Steven Soderbergh’s action-thriller, mixed-martial arts fighter-turned-actor Gina Carano kicks some serious ass as Mallory Kane, a black ops soldier out for revenge after she is betrayed during a mission. Haywire also stars Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Channing Tatum, and Michael Fassbender.

Joyful Noise
Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton, and Akeelah and the Bee’s Keke Palmer star in this musical comedy about a small-town gospel choir headed to a national competition.

Mystery of Edwin Drood
The BBC adapts Charles Dickens’ final novel, in which the murder of an English man named Edwin Drood turns into a mystery. The Mystery of Edwin Drood features The Edge of Love’s Matthew Rhys, The Three Musketeers’ Freddie Fox, and Jane Eyre’s Tamzin Merchant.

New Year’s Eve
From the writing-directing team that brought the star-studded Valentine’s Day to the big screen comes a similar rom-com based around New Year’s Eve. Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, and Zac Efron are just a few of the actors in this movie about a group of New Yorkers whose lives are somehow intertwined.
