I love the new downtown location! I am irritated, however, that after waiting for 45 minutes to hear "Maria In The Shower ", that this band is pushing their religious views. If I wanted to attend a church service I would, but I do not appreciate musicians preaching to me. This info about this band should have been included in the program write up so that I could make an informed choice of what band I wish to hear.

Dear Linda - Maria in the Shower are from East Van and are therefore entitled to preach whatever they like to whomever they like and in whatever form they chose - in this day and age you could have easily checked out their website prior to viewing and made an educated decision on your music choice - stop whining and go back to Kits or Point Grey or worse West Van - besides MITS are pranksters - their religiousness is purely tongue in cheek

I so couple of freaks trying to persuade people in howe street and georgia not to believe in God at all. I can tell their energy were not good,we are living souls...not only bones and meat..we are spiritual people,we are part of this creation..all the universe is alive and we are part of it, we are part of good,we have the spirit of life inside us,and when we will die in this body the spirit of life he put on us,will come back to him...ANY WAY ENJOY THE JAZZ FESTIVAL IS AMAZING...AND THE BEAUTIFUL BC NATURE THIS SUMMER..
