Rad Daze Halloween at the Biltmore
We totally understand why Halloween gives some folks the major heebie-jeebies. Not because it’s scary, but because it raises questions about what the hell goes on in the heads of people.
Remember that time you showed up at a house party and two guys were dressed up like the Twin Towers, complete with miniature airplanes? Or the German who thought it was funny to dress up like Hitler, and the guy wearing a Superman costume while sitting in a Christopher Reeve–brand wheelchair? And let’s not forget the woman who hand-sewed the giant maxi-pad, stuck her head in the middle, and then doused the whole thing in strawberry jam. (Actually, that one was pretty awesome, so let’s give her a break.)
Anyhow, all this is a roundabout way of saying that the only way to have a good time on Halloween is to make sure you are going somewhere packed with people with good taste. Like, for example, the Biltmore, where Rad Daze Halloween on Thursday (October 31) will feature local legend My!Gay!Husband! on the decks, as well as Cherchez La Femme, among others.
Or you could head down to Granville Mall, where you are guaranteed to see a guy dressed up as a giant penis with “Suck me” written on the shaft.
