Not to be mistaken for Scottish soft-rockers Wet Wet Wet—and, apparently, two-thirds less moist—Massachusetts-via-Brooklyn indie trio Wet seems like one of those Next Big Thing propositions. The group specializes in downtempo heartbreak pop, as exemplified by the tear-jerking likes of “Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl”. Wet already has some famous fans (not that the Khloé Kardashian seal of approval is a mark of honour), which means the three-piece’s Vancouver show next Wednesday (February 10) could be your last chance to catch it at a small venue like the Biltmore.
