Korean Gut reunites for farewell show
Korean Gut broke up in 2012, but the local surf-punk four-piece returns for a farewell show at the Cobalt on Friday (May 30).
This gig will double as a release party for a two-song 7-inch on the Kingfisher Bluez label.
“There were some bad times amongst members—y’know, standard band stuff,” Jarrett K told the Straight. The guitarist-vocalist has gone on to front Tough Age. “We’re all friends again, and I thought that it would be really nice to just have fun.”
Those who pay the $8 admission will receive a copy of the single, while supplies last.
Shawn Mrazek Lives! and Flying Heads round out the bill.
