On Saturday (July 23) Vancouver DIY stalwarts the Boom Booms (above), Good for Grapes, and Twin River will be among the nearly 25 acts on the four stages of Uptown Live! in New Westminster.

The undercard ranges from roots singer-songwriter Jeremy Allingham to blues revivalist Brandon Isaak, with the intersection of 6th Street and Sixth Avenue serving as a good leaping-off point for the festivities.
