Looking for a holiday stocking stuffer that you’ll enjoy as much as your guy or girlfriend?

How about two tickets to the 2015 Pemberton Music Festival?

The folks at Huka Entertainment who brought Outkast and Nine Inch Nails to B.C. last summer have announced the festival is returning for a second year. Early bird tickets go on sale this Friday (December 12) coincidentally just in time for last-minute Christmas shopping.

Given that this summer party announcement has come during the depths of a rainy Vancouver winter, there aren’t a ton of details available just yet. But we do have a date.

The days you want to book off work are July 16 to 19, 2015.

Here’s what the weekend is going to cost you if you:

Early Bird tickets come in two tiers, with prices starting at $229 for four-day General Admission festival passes, plus $89 for either a camping or shuttle pass, or $29 for a Go Green pass – which are in limited supply. Four-day VIP festival passes start at $799, which includes a choice of camping or shuttle. Four-‐day Super VIP festival passes start at a price of $1,299, which includes a choice of camping or shuttle.

While we’re going to have to wait a while longer for line-up details, a release sent to media includes some information on site upgrades.

Addressing the first complaint that many 2014 campers posted to Twitter last summer, Huka is shortening the trek that connects parking lots to areas where you’ll crash for the weekend.

"We have been working hard on an improved camping load-in and load-out experience, including additional campgrounds closer to parking areas, and improved footpath surfaces, which means campers will have an easier time carrying, wheeling and pulling their gear into the site,” reads the release. "We are also adding more transportation assistance from the parking lots to the main campgrounds immediately adjacent to the festival, which means more rides for more campers in general.”

Organizers are also adding an entirely new campground located on the south side of the Sea to Sky Highway opposite the festival grounds.

Last year, the initial batch of tickets sold at discounted earl-bird prices were scooped up just about instantaneously. If you want to get in on the initial buy, hit up www.pembertonmusicfestival.com tomorrow (December 12) at 10 a.m. sharp.
