Chance the Rapper, Muse, and A Tribe Called Quest announced as headliners for 2017 edition of Pemberton Music Festival

      Chance the Rapper, Muse, and A Tribe Called Quest have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Pemberton Music Festival, running July 13-16 in Pemberton, B.C. 

      The undercard includes Haim, Future Island, Tegan & Sara, Logic, Zeds Dead, and Migos.

      As in past years the lineup is a deep one. Eagles of Death Metal—who just a few short years ago headlined the rival and now-defunct Squamish Valley Music Festival—are listed halfway down the Pemberton festival promo poster, as are the high-profile and critically respected likes of Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Joey Badass, and the Avalanches. 

      Acts falling under the urban-music umbrella will include Sonreal, A Tribe Called Red, and Lil Uzi Vert. Americana fans can looks forward to the Rural Alberta Advantage, Shovels and Rope, and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats. Artists with a Vancouver connection include Said the Whale, Dirty Radio, and Bob Moses.
