The 35th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival drew thousands Saturday (July 14) for a day of performances and workshops.

Among the highlights Saturday evening were Seattle indie folk-pop act The Head and the Heart, and headliner K'Naan, who closed the evening with a performance of his single "Wavin' Flag".

The festival continues today (July 15) for a final day of performances, including Ani DiFranco, Hey Rosetta! and the Johnny Clegg Band.
