The B.C. Liberals are looking for a new candidate to run in Surrey-Panorama.

Today (February 8), the party announced that former Newton-North Delta MP Sukh Dhaliwal, who is facing tax-evasion charges, has stepped down as a candidate.

“I would like to thank Sukh for his commitment to the Party and our leader,” B.C. Liberal Party president Sharon White said in a statement.

“We will be moving ahead soon with nominations throughout Surrey and look forward to announcing our full Surrey team,” White added.

The date of a new Surrey-Panorama candidate selection meeting has yet to be determined.

we can criticize The Liberals Fine, but if you think the NDP is the be all & end all then think again,.......many have forgotten the 1990's & 2 NDP premiers who had to step down because of conflict of interest charges & how about that Moe Sahota remember him?... ya more conflict of interest issue's ........ remember the whole we were in yeah wasn't it great!!! yeah guess many voters can't wait to relive the 1990's..... I'm not saying the BC Liberals are any better, I'm just saying people should take off the rose sun glasses regarding the NDP because they ain't sqeeky clean either.....

The Truth? Lets tell the real truth then. LIbERal corruption exceeds anything, anywhere in Canada. If we ever had a judicial inquiry like what is happening in Quebec right now, half the LIbERal caucus would be on trial for corruption and fraud. Here is just part of the list of corruption:
      BC Rail
      BC Hydro
      IPP
      Vancouver Convention Center
      Stadium roof
      BC Ferries
and I could go on. Unbelievable that "The Truth" will try and deflect the truth away from the LIbERalS.

Problem is, I remember the 2000's (and beyond) with Gordo, cHriSTy and the BC LIbEralS all that much more.
