It wasn't pretty, but once again, the Canucks got the job done in their final regular-season match.

Even though they mustered only 23 shots on goal, Vancouver still managed to find the back of the net on six of them, including an overtime winner by Alex Edler.

Vancouver needed third-period goals by Jannik Hansen and Sven Baertschi (his second of the night) to tie the game.

Canucks goalie Ryan Miller had a tough time between the pipes in his first game back after an injury, allowing five goals on 28 shots.

Meanwhile, the Calgary Flames were trounced 5-1 in Winnipeg, ensuring that the Canucks have the home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Game 1 begins at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (April 15) at Rogers Arena.

"Throughout the Playoffs, the Canucks encourage fans to always celebrate responsibly," the team states on its website.

Or, to put it more bluntly, "Please don't start another riot if we don't win the Cup."
