It was one of the longest police chases in recent memory in the Lower Mainland.

But police finally got their man, but not until after he had crashed into a few police cars.

CKNW News reported that the man allegedly ran over his wife near 200 Street and 64 Avenue in Langley. According to the station, she has nonlife-threatening injuries.

Then the man drove to Vancouver with a three-year-old girl in the back seat before being captured.

The Vancouver Police Department has not released any names.
