A day after issuing a public warning, the Vancouver police say they have arrested a sex offender who didn't return to his halfway house on August 20.

Darren Wheatley was at-large after serving a 10-year prison term for two counts of sexual assault, sexual assault causing bodily harm, and two counts of overcoming resistance by choking.

His convictions came after the 45-year-old, 230-pound man attacked three women in Ontario.
