Notorious white supremacist Craig Cogg undergoes evaluation in mental hospital

Former Vancouver resident and anti-Semite Craig Cobb has agreed to a psychiatric evaluation in North Dakota.

According to an article on the Southern Poverty Law Center's Hatewatch site, Cobb ran into trouble while trying to create an all-white community in Leith, North Dakota.

The 62-year-old racist was arrested in November and faces four felony counts after allegedly approaching residents with a firearm.

Cobb claimed to the Bismark Tribune at the time that he and a racist compatriot, Kynan Dutton, were on patrol. This came after they had reportedly flown Nazi flags and disrupted public meetings.

Hatewatch reported that Cobb has stopped eating while in custody, which led to him being sent to a mental hospital.

In late November, Hatwatch also revealed that Cobb was prepared to abandon his plans to create an Aryan settlement if the charges were dropped.

In 2010 on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21), Cobb videotaped antiracists holding an anti-Nazi demonstration at the Braid SkyTrain station in New Westminster.

In June 2010, the RCMP arrested him at the Vancouver Public Library and he was charged later that year in connection with a racist website he operated.

When Cobb was in Vancouver, he lived in the Downtown Eastside and was known to frequent a Waves Coffee House at the corner of Main and Cordova streets.

After being charged here, he moved to Montana and later ended up in North Dakota.

It is supremacist for the government to test its social theories on unwilling human subjects.

As always, the Americans do our dirty work. Vancouver just remains a petty crime paradise. I like Seattle, scum steals your car, pull out gun and get medal. In Vancouver, the scum gets treated and released. You go to jail. Fuck.

Cobb gave an excellent audio interview with James Bowery. If you're a free spirit, you might listen.
