Many Canadians want to toss out the Conservatives but they're not sure which politician has the best chance of winning in their area.

The group Leadnow is trying to help clear the air by recommending non-Harper candidates in certain ridings across the country.

Today, it released its first 16 recommendations and one Lower Mainland candidate is on the list.

Incumbent New Democrat Fin Donnelly has received an endorsement in Port Moody–Coquitlam. He's running against Liberal Jessie Adcock, Conservative Tim Laidler, Green Marcus Madsen, and Marxist-Leninist Roland Verrier.

Other B.C. candidates recommended by Leadnow are New Democrats Alistair MacGregor (Cowichan-Malahat-Langford), Wayne Stetski (Kootenay-Columbia), Sheila Malcolmson (Nanaimo-Ladysmith), and Rachel Blaney (North Island–Powell River).

Leadnow has also endorsed nine Liberals and two New Democrats in other provinces.
