Social media is buzzing over a pregnant woman's Facebook post about a confrontation in Vancouver.

Mandy Pappas claimed that she was on her way to vote yesterday when a cyclist allegedly ran a stop sign, coming close to striking her.

She wrote that she yelled at him for doing this. She alleged that he then came toward her and "hit and knocked me over". Pappas also stated in her post that she's been pregnant for five months.

"I tried to hold on to his backpack to keep him at the scene after I got up but I wasn't able to," she stated.

The man has not yet offered his side of the story and no charges have been laid.

Pappas wrote that she was on her way to the hospital to make sure everything was okay with her baby.

She stated in her post that a witness took a photo of the cyclist. (See above.) Pappas has asked anyone who recognizes him to contact the Vancouver Police Department.
